Robbie Denise Burgess Cartwright, age 40, left this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, December 22, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Robbie was born on February 18, 1974 in Olney, Texas to David Max Burgess, Sr. and Robbie Jolyne (Allison) Burgess. She moved to Dallas in 1990 from Graham. She had worked as a Nurses Aid, but more than that, she was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Robbie was preceded in death by her mother, Robbie Jolyne Hope, on May 21, 2006.

Robbie is survived by her father, David Max Burgess, Sr. of Graham; two children: Taylor Cartwright and Alexis Cartwright of the home in Dallas; two brothers: David Max Burgess, Jr. and wife Heather of Newcastle and Jody King and wife Amy of Graham; two aunts: Martha Jean Moody of Newcastle and Norma Lou Durham and husband Don of Tyler; one uncle, Rhea Allison and wife Jackie of Dallas, four nieces and nephews, and special friend Mike Desautel of Dallas.
