Robert L. Pratt, age 63, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home in Wichita Falls, Texas. Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Bruce McPeters, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Robert was born on January 2, 1959 in Seymour, Texas to the late Oscar Pratt, Sr. and Joann (Pierson) Pratt. He graduated from Olney High School in 1977. He was awarded a football scholarship to Ranger Jr. College where he played for two years. Robert lived in Olney and Graham until he moved to Wichita Falls where he lived the past thirty-three years. He was a service technician for Atmos Energy for thirty years until his retirement. Robert and Margie Whitson were married on May 17, 1988, in Wichita Falls. He liked to paint and remodel houses and loved to go fishing. He was a very kind and caring person and was always there if someone needed help. Robert considered all of his family as his most treasured assets.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sue Ann Williams; and a brother, Larry Pratt.

Robert is survived by his wife, Margie Whitson Pratt of Wichita Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Anieka Pratt-Defoe and husband Donald of Olney; son, Robert L. Pratt, Jr. of Wichita Falls; brother and sister-in-law, Oscar Pratt and wife Tracy of Garland; two grandchildren: Jay-R and Annalecia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
