Ron Price, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Newcastle. He is now "hot rodding" in Heaven. No services are planned at this time. A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ron was born on April 29, 1939 in Floydada, Texas to the late Harvey B. and Wynema (Coston) Price. He married Miriam Barnes on October 9, 1966 in Odessa, Texas. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2003. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was a corporate executive. He was a Marine first, and then a loving father and grandfather. He was a racer for many years. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; they affectionately referred to him as "Poppa".

Survivors include; Three daughters, Kari Blair of Newcastle, Texas, Kelly Lyons of Brentwood, California, and Lisa Berger of Pinole, California; One step-son, Todd Champion of Olney, Texas; One step-daughter, Jill Champion of Sparta, Michigan; One daughter-in-law, Christine Champion of Wilmington, North Carolina; One sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Sam Rice of Odessa, Texas; One nephew, Sammy Rice of Odessa; One niece, Dr. Lori Rice Spearman and her husband Doug of Lubbock, Texas; Ten grandchildren also survive.
