Services for Ronald will be Graveside only Sunday May 3, 1pm at the Pioneer Cemetery in Graham Texas. A reception will follow for all to attend with a meal provided at Young County Arena. Burial arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ronald “RE” Eddleman Born December 13, 1940, Lifelong resident of Young County. RE passed away peacefully at home Saturday May 2, 2026.

Born in Olney Texas, to the late A.M. and Madeline Eddleman he grew up and graduated from Olney High School. Attended John Tarleton College at Stephenville, Texas, before transferring to East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. He married Doris Jean Shelton on August 24, 1963. She spent the next 47 years trying to keep him in line. Together they had 2 boys, Jim Bob and Don Ed, both requiring many hours of time and dedication from both Mom and Dad. He spent 30+ years teaching Agriculture, most of them at Newcastle High School. He loved farming, ranching, and horses. He produced many team roping jackpots at Lake Graham and loved competing with his friends. He enjoyed listening to Jim Bob play in his bands and watching Don Ed rope over the years. He was a board member of the YCA and served as the Treasurer while overseeing the completion of the Indoor Arena. If you knew him, you understood where you stood with him. He was a great son, brother, husband, father, and friend to so many whose lives he touched.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, A.M. and Madeline Womack Eddleman, brother Archie Myers Eddleman, wife Doris Jean Eddleman, and brother-in-law Joe Aultman.

Survivors include Jim Bob and Lori Eddleman of Graham; Don Ed and Pamala Eddleman of Santa Anna; sister-in-law Alvarie Aultman; grandchildren Will Eddleman, Carly Sobczak, Brady Kendrick; nephews Ron Aultman, Tim Aultman, Mark Eddleman, and Coy Don Eddleman; and great-grandchildren Owen and Dean Sobczak. Several great nieces and nephews.
