Roy E. Damron, age 64, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas, with Danny Taylor, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Roy was born on October 4, 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to the late Archie Brown and Edith Juanita (Wooden) Brown. He married Ramona Jeter on June 10, 1972 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Roy worked for many years for M & D Air Conditioning of Wichita Falls and Gill Air Conditioning of Burkburnett. He also worked for many years for the Wichita Falls Time Record News as a home delivery representative. He moved to Burkburnett in 2000 from Wichita Falls. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Archie Leon Damron.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Damron of Burkburnett; one son, Roy Damron, Jr. of Burkburnett; one daughter, Rebecca Dorsman and husband Alvin of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren: Paige Couick and husband Andrew, Shae Dorsman, Tiffany Dorsman and Amber Dorsman all of Wichita Falls; three great-grandchildren: Chloe Couick, Conner Couick, Sara Couick; and one brother, Paul Damron of Wichita Falls.

Family visitation will be on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
