Rozella "Rene" Boydston, age 58, of Lakeside City, TX, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Southside Baptist Church 2210 Holliday Road -Wichita Falls on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at 11 a.m.

Rene was born on March 27th, 1966, in Albuquerque, NM to the late Lynn Strother and Joan Skinner. She attended community college at Manatee Memorial in FL and Midwestern State University in TX. She had a passion for civil engineering and worked several jobs drawing blueprints. Rene loved to travel, playing games, and her cat, GreyC. Rene was a caretaker caring for others and her grandmother. In March of 2018, Rene committed to Jesus and was baptized at Southside Baptist Church.

Rene was preceded in death by grandparents, Clifton and Rozella Edwards (Lakeside City), and father, Lynn Strother (Quinlan, TX).

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Chet Lockard (Olney, TX); 5 grandchildren: Duwey, Alura, Hayden, Brexlyn, and Levi; mother and brother, Joan Skinner and Gerald Keswater (Lakeside City).

Memorial options: Hospice Wichita Falls, Olney Senior Cub Center, House of Mercy Enterprises, or a place of choosing.
