Ruth M. Daniel, age 104, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Ruth was born on June 14, 1912 in Weatherford, Texas to the late Jesse McCarty and Martha (Woodruff) McCarty. She moved to Olney in 1932 from Ft. Belknap. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 40 years and she was a faithful member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ. She and R. G. Daniel were married on August 25, 1932 in Walters, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1991. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Clarence McCarty and Cecil McCarty; one sister, Jessie McCarty Joyner; and one grandson, Marvin Wayne White.

Ruth is survived by one daughter, Beverly Ann Daniel White and husband Tommy of Odessa, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
