Sammy Clark Hudgens
Sammy Clark Hudgens, age 75, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 in Seymour, Texas. No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Sammy was born on November 8, 1944 in Vernon, Texas to the late Doc and Lova (Veal) Hudgens. After graduating from high school, he took some college courses, and then joined the United States Army. He was very proud to be Veteran. He also served in law enforcement. He loved doing leather work and did a lot of trading. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sandra Haggerman, and a nephew, Britt Haggerman.
Sammy is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Chance and Mindy Hudgens of Newcastle, Texas; five grandchildren: Cutter Hudgens, Kayla Hudgens, Carson Hudgens, Canvas Hudgens and Kayson Hudgens; one nephew, Brad Haggerman of Forney, Texas; and one niece, Sandy Haggerman of Seymour, Texas.
