Sarah Gallardo Garcia, age 72, died Friday, September 13, 2019 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 17 at First Baptist Church in Olney with Jacob Gallardo officiating. Interment will follow in the Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Sarah was born on July 4, 1947 in Groesbeck, Texas to the late Alejandro and Adela (Reyes) Gallardo, Sr. She worked as a seamstress for Hagar Slack Company for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John Gallardo and one sister, Mary Cardona.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law; Manuel and Christy Garcia, Oscar and Sandra Garcia, Jimmy and Fina Garcia, and Paul and Elena Garcia, all of Olney, Texas; four sisters; Connie Gallardo, Diana Prieto, and Norma Gallardo, all of McKinney, Texas, and Minnie Garcia of Lubbock, Texas; five brothers; Jacob Gallardo of Olney, Texas, Ralph Gallardo of Anna, Tx, Rudy Gallardo, Danny Gallardo, and Alejandro Gallardo, Jr., all of McKinney, Texas; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.


Family visitation will be Monday, September 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
