Shari Ann Haigood, age 53, died Monday, March 6, 2017 in Archer City. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Archer City with Adam Davis, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Shari was born on January 9, 1964 in Archer City, Texas to Cecil and Patricia (Farmer) Haigood. She started school in Archer City and later moved to Coleman, Texas where she graduated from Coleman High School in 1982. She attended Midwestern State University and was a lifetime resident of Archer City. She was the Utility Billing Clerk for the City of Archer and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of both the Texas Longhorns and the Texas Rangers.

Shari was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Haigood; her grandparents, Cecil and Gladys Haigood and Clint and Dean Farmer; her step-father, Dago Alexander; and her uncle, James Farmer.

Shari is survived by her mother and step-father, Tom Alexander Simmons and Bruce of Olney, Texas; her brother, Chris Haigood of Allen, Texas; two aunts, Marcia Mahler of Archer City, Texas and Doris Farmer of Longview, Texas; numerous cousins; two step-brothers, Lewis "Brownie" Simmons of Wichita Falls, Texas and Rodney Simmons and wife Jan of Olney, Texas; and, two step-sisters, Becky Marchand and husband Todd of Azle, Texas and Nancy Alexander Helms of Coleman, Texas. She also leaves behind her dear friend Debbi Crutcher and family of Wichita Falls, Texas, and her dearly loved pets, Cruella, Spook and Sam.
