Shirley Ann Pace, age 69, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Scotte Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Elbert Cemetery. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Shirley was born on March 4, 1943 in Olney, Texas to William Russell and Cora Kirksey Parks. She and Alton Eugene quotGenequot Pace, Jr. were married on August 27, 1962 in Olney. They moved to Wichita Falls soon afterward. Shirley was a retired accountant at Midwestern State University. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. Shirley was also a member of the Eastern Star organization. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband in 1983 a daughter, Angie Duffle and a brother, Russell Parks.

Survivors include a daughter Gena Zimmerman and husband Charles of Warner Robins, Georgia grandchildren: C.J. and Taylor Zimmerman of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Leighton Duffle of Wichita Falls, Texas a sister, Kay McCarson and husband Jim of Elbert, Texas a brother, Billy Parks and wife Carolyn of Temple, Texas sisterinlaw, Rosala Parks of Olney, Texas and former soninlaw, Scott Duffle of Wichita Falls, Texas.
