Stephen Kodar, age 75, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Graham, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Olney, officiating. Burial will follow at Loving Cemetery in Loving, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Stephen was born on August 3, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia. He served in the United States Navy. In 1977, he moved to Loving, Texas from Norfolk and married Darla Speer on August 3, 1977 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He spent several years as a law enforcement clerk in Virginia and in Wichita Falls. He loved cats.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Darla Kodar of Loving, Texas; one step-daughter, Sharla "Charlie" Carr of Olney, Texas; three step-grandchildren, Angie Roznovsky and husband Kevin of Cuero, Texas, Rene Montana of Pensacola, Florida and Matt Carr of Pensacola, Florida; six step-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Daphne Hawkins of Weatherford, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
