Steven M. Leemann, 46, of Sunset, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, near Forestburg. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at RestlandCemetery in Olney with Scotte Clark officiating and eulogy given by Roger Leemann. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Steve was born May 14, 1968, in Winterthur, Switzerland, to Claire Falcy Leemann and Kurt J. Leemann. He moved with his family to Texas in 1971. Steve attended Lewisville schools and graduated Lewisville High School in 1987. He moved to Sunset in 2005 from Denton. He was self-employed. Steve was a Protestant.
Steve and Jamy Puckett were married April 19, 1999, in Denton. Their children, Kyra Lewellyn, 9, and Andrea Janae, 7, were the light of his life. Steve was a wonderful Daddy'. He lived life to the fullest and loved the outdoors. He had a beautiful smile and never met a stranger. He was loyal to his loved ones, his friends and his beloved dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Jamy Leemann, and two daughters, Kyra and Janae, of Sunset; his parents Claire Leemann of Garland and Kurt and Tommye Leemann of Olney; three brothers: Roger Leemann and wife Cyndie of Tampa, Fla., Marshall Leemann and wife Krista of Olney, and Marcus Leemann, also of Olney; two nephews Kyle Leemann and Kevyn Leemann and a niece Blake Leemann. Steve was preceded in death by his foster brother, Donald Pemberton.
