Sylvia "Cecil" Ratliff, age 88, died Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Graham. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2021, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Todd Peebles, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elbert Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Sylvia was born on June 23, 1933 in Atoka County, Oklahoma to the late Woodrow and Dottie (Stewart) Sims.  She moved from Llano, Texas to Olney, Texas in 1975. Sylvia was employed as a cook at Hamilton Hospital from 1977 until her retirement in 1995. She moved to Graham in 2001.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randy Ratliff; three brothers, Billy Robinson, Roy Mack Robinson, Jonah (Butch) Robinson; three sisters, Myrtle Preas, Juanita Shipman, Mae Circles; and two grandchildren, Steven Tanner and Melissa Kohout.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Cook and wife Pam of Jacksboro, Texas, Willard Cook of Jacksboro, Texas; three daughters, Angela Youngblood and husband Robert of Graham, Texas, Donna Pease of Olney, Texas, Doris Harmonson and husband Bruce of Abernathy, Texas; one brother, Richard Robinson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Brenda Stedham of Paris, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
