Tim Averett, age 63, died November 10, 2020, at Graham Oaks in Graham. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2020, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. David Carpenter, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Tim was born on November 13, 1956 in Graham to the late Billy Ross Averett and Grace (Edwards) Averett. He moved from Graham to Olney in 1958 and was a lifetime resident of Olney. He was a painter and really enjoyed fishing. He married Bonita Rodgers on November 18, 1996. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2015.

Tim is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Piney and David Bramlett of Seymour; one niece, Elicia Foster of Olney; two step-sons, Del Rodgers of Olney and David Rodgers of Olney; two step-daughters, Renee Rockenbaugh of Copperas Cove and Barbie Rodgers of Olney; as well as fourteen step-grandchildren.
