Tommy Dunsworth, age 87, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Tommy was born on January 27, 1933 to the late Winford and Dorthea Dunsworth. At the end of the Korean War in 1953, he joined the United States Army and spent two years in Alaska. He was discharged from active duty in 1955 and served six years in the Army Reserves. He married Carol Rockenbaugh on January 31, 1960 and they recently celebrated sixty years of marriage. He was a great mechanic and was the best welder as told by many people that knew him. Tommy loved his family and his dog "Buddy" who went everywhere with him.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jackie Dunsworth, a brother, Jerry Dunsworth and a grandson-in-law, Clay McCarson.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Carol Dunsworth of Olney; three daughters, Tresa Dunsworth of Olney, Kelly Echols of Olney, and Rhonda Dunsworth and husband Mickey Schenk of Archer City; four grandkids, Ashley Phillips and husband Todd, Krissa McCarson, Devon Dixon and Kason Schenk; four great-grandkids; one brother, James Dunsworth of Michigan; and one sister, June Campbell of Olney.

Family visitation will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 707 West Payne Street, Olney, Texas.
