Tony R. Gameson, age 88, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in Graham, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Terry Mitchell of Weatherford, Texas, officiating. Burial with military honors conducted by the American Volunteer Reserves will be at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Tony was born on September 9, 1926 in Jean, Texas to the late J. W. "Curly" and Nell (Swain) Gameson. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during World War II and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He married Verda Mae Chenault on August 6, 1966 in Irving, Texas. She preceded him in death on September 17, 2008. Tony was a retired pipeline inspector and had lived in Graham since 1995 when he moved there from Blooming Grove, Texas. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three brothers: Arthur Gameson, Louie Gameson and Shirley Gameson.

Tony is survived by his son, Danny Gameson of Terrell, Texas; daughter, Tona Sue Jackson of Loving, Texas; brother, Morris Gameson and wife Linda of Graham, Texas; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 2, 2015, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
