Tony Marvin "Mark" Rodgers, Jr., age 59, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at his home in Newcastle, Texas. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 20, 2024, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Mark was born on September 26, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Tony Marvin Rodgers, Sr. and Gloria (Kuykendall) Rodgers. He moved to Newcastle in 2010 from Covington, Texas. Mark worked as a truck driver and farmer for many years. In his younger years, he could be found at a rodeo, whether he was watching or participating in different events. He also enjoyed going hunting. Mark was an amazing father and an even better grandfather to his grandchildren. Above all, Mark enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Mark is survived by his mother, Gloria Jeanie Rodgers; his two daughters and one son-in-law, Melinda Nolen and husband Chase of Tolar, Texas, and Chelsey Rodgers of Cleburne, Texas; his two sons and one daughter-in-law, Cody Rodgers of Indianapolis, Indiana and Clayton Rodgers and wife Elle of Midlothian, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law: Allen Rodgers and wife Rhonda of Elbert, Texas; and his eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tony Marvin Rodgers, Sr.
