Tony Marvin Rodgers, age 71, was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Jessie Edwards, pastor of First Baptist Church of Newcastle, officiating. Interment will follow in Elbert Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Tony was born on May 24, 1944 in Olney, to Marvin H. Rodgers and Louise (Nevile) Rodgers. He married Jeanie Kuykendall on October 26, 1963 in Fort Worth. He was a farmer, rancher and surveyor, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newcastle. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Marvin H. Rodgers.

Tony is survived by his mother, Louise Rodgers of Olney; his loving wife of 52 years, Jeanie Rodgers of Elbert; two sons: Tony Rodgers Jr. of Elbert and Allen Dean Rodgers of Graham; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
