Veronica Castro, age 31, died September 8, 2016 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Jacob Gallardo, officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney, Texas.

Veronica was born on July 22, 1985 in Archer City, Texas to Rueben and Rosemary (Garza) Castro. She was preceded in death by her son, Dominic Tra'juan Castro; maternal grandparents, Juan and Ester Garza; paternal grandfather, Joe Castro; and one cousin, Michael Garza.

Survivors include her daughter, Angelina Colchado of Windthorst, Texas; her parents, Rueben and Rosemary Castro of Scotland, Texas; one brother, Rueben Castro, Jr. of Vernon, Texas; one sister, Samantha Castro of Wichita Falls, Texas; paternal grandmother, Mary Castro of Olney, Texas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
