Vickie Lynn Chisum, age 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, the joy she found in life's simple pleasures, and the memories she leaves behind in the hearts of those who loved her.

Vickie was born on October 31, 1957, in Olney, Texas, to the late Harold Aylor and Mary (Graves) Aylor. Throughout her life, she worked at Olney Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas, and Admiral Linen in Wichita Falls, Texas. Due to health challenges, she retired early.

Family was at the center of Vickie's world. She treasured the time she spent with her children and loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. She had a special love for music, especially Elvis Presley, whose songs brought her happiness. One of her most treasured memories was a special vacation with her son and daughter-in-law, traveling to West Virginia, visiting Graceland, and seeing Loretta Lynn's home in Tennessee. These experiences brought her great joy and gave her beautiful memories to hold close to her heart.

Though Vickie faced health challenges, her life was defined by the connections she shared with her family and the moments that made her happy. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave, the memories she created, and the stories shared by those who knew her will continue to keep her spirit alive.

Vickie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harold and Mary Aylor, and her sisters, Linda Baisch, Peggy Boggess, Judy Barker, and Carolyn Thornley.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her two sons, Rodney Lynn and his wife, Janet Burns, of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Jody Chisum of Iowa Park, Texas; her daughter, Robin Dennis of Iowa Park, Texas; and her sister, Stacy Oliver of Olney, Texas.
