Vida P. Scobee, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church in Olney with Andy Graham, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at True Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Vida was born on May 3, 1926, in Jacksboro, Texas, to the late Raymond Arther Crista and Stella Pearl (Walton) Crista. She was a lifetime resident of Olney and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a retired LVN after working many years at Hamilton Hospital in Olney and Graham Regional Hospital in Graham. She married Billy Joe Scobee on July 25, 1957 in Olney. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1998. She was also preceded in death by three sons: Raymond Bruhn, Tommy Bruhn and Kenneth Bruhn; and three sisters: Ferol King, Patsy Ruth Carter and Verna Zickerfoose.

Vida is survived by three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
