Virginia Colleen Harris Pribble, age 80, passed away on January 8, 2025, at her home in Olney, Texas, surrounded by her children. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Olney, with pastor Dr. Chad Edgington officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Virginia was born on May 10, 1944, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to the late Charley Harris and Goldie (Walker) Bonner. She moved to Olney from Burkburnett, Texas, in 1974. Virginia had a passion for teaching; she retired in May 2006 from Megargel High School after twenty-nine years in the education system. Some of her favorite hobbies were reading, shopping, and antiquing. Virginia also enjoyed going out and eating with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Welch.

Virginia is survived by her two daughters and one son-in-law: Toni and Jeff Boyd of Holliday, Texas, and Anja Fields of Olney, Texas; her son and daughter-in-law Darin "Rush" Pribble and wife Angie of Nocona, Texas; her siblings Sharon Thompson of Springdale, Arkansas, and Ronnie Bonner of Anaheim, California, her seven grandchildren: Kolby Kulhanek, Brayden Boyd and wife Bailee, Blayne Boyd, Koltyn Donnelly and Cora Leroy, Jake Pribble, Trip Pribble, and Adie Pribble; her great-grandson Kysen Donnelly, and her great-granddaughter on the way Berklee Boyd.
