Wanda Charlene Mann of Mt Pleasant, Texas, went home to her Lord on August 14, 2025.

Visitation will be at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1 pm to 2 pm, followed by funeral services at 2 pm, officiated by Pastor Franklin Stringham. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Charlene was born in Megargel, Texas, on January 7, 1936, to Joseph and Bessie (White) Lynch. She was a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. She was an LVN, a self-taught pianist and mandolin player, seamstress, and artist. Her favorite accomplishment was her title of Mother, Mom, and Mema.

Charlene was preceded in death by six sisters and eight brothers, her husbands William Lee (Peanut) Walker and John Laverne Mann.

She is survived by one brother, Eddie Lynch. Two daughters: Dian Bray (Lonnie), and Karen Mitchell. One son, Richard Walker. Her grand children: Storie (Ryan) Curran, William Toothman, Cody Toothman, Stephanie (Jesse) Fernandez, Amy Davis, Steven Moody, and Billy (Stacie) Davis. Numerous grand and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
