Wanda Beth McWhorter Revell

Wanda Beth McWhorter Revell passed on July 6, 2013 at the age of 65. Memorial services will be held in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton St. Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Wanda was born in Olney, Texas on November 20, 1947. She was a graduate of Megargel High School and also Midwestern State University. She taught school for thirty-eight years between Graham, Megargel and Olney, retiring from Olney after thirty-three years. She was a member of the Texas Retired Teacher's Association, and was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was a loving Wife, Mother, Nana and Teacher.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Boyd McWhorter, and a sister Linda Womack.

She is lovingly remembered by Larry, her husband of almost forty-five years; her son Warren of Stafford, Texas; her son Will and his wife Maranda of Iowa Park, Texas; her son Kirk and his wife Angela of Nacogdoches, Texas; and six grandchildren (Lane, Grace, Brodie, Matt, Abby and Gatlynn). She is survived by her mother, Leo McWhorter of Olney, Texas; brother, Travis McWhorter of Austin, Texas; sister, Gwen Cook of Pflugerville, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
