Wendall Bennett, Sr., age 72, died Saturday, March 8, 2014, at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle, Texas with Scotte Clark, of Olney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Wendall was born on January 15, 1942 in Bath, Maine. He moved to Newcastle, Texas in 1999 from Maine. Wendall had worked as an automotive body technician. He was preceded in death by his three sisters and one brother.

Wendall is survived by his Mom, Ruth Creamer of Bath, Maine; five sons: Wendall Bennett, Jr. and Alexis Tate of Newcastle, Texas, Tony and Mona Bennett of Newcastle, Texas, Byron Bennett of Illinois, Keith Bennett of Conroe, Texas, and Warren Preston of Houston, Texas; five brothers, one sister, eight grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
