Reverend Wilburn Acy "Bud" Kimbro, age 76, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Garden Terrace Nursing Home in Graham, Texas. Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Reverend Curtis Payne, pastor of Abundant Life Church in Graham, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Wilburn was born on October 16, 1945, in Whittier, California to the late Horace Acy Kimbro, Sr. and Virl Dean (York) Kimbro. He moved to Olney in January, 1975 from Graham and was a member of the Olney Church of God. He and Patsy Cox were married on April 20, 1979 in Keller, Texas. Wilburn served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He loved to fish, and he loved his animals, especially his Chiweenie, and he loved spending time with his family. He loved Jesus and enjoyed reading his Bible. He never met a stranger and always took the opportunity to tell them about Jesus.

Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Horace Acy Kimbro, Jr., Larry Dean Kimbro, Tommy Ray Kimbro and James A. Kimbro.

Wilburn is survived by his wife, Patsy Kimbro of Olney; five sons, Dale Kimbro and wife Jenny of Houston, Jackie Kimbro and wife Crickett of Graham, Jody Kimbro and wife Paige of Geronimo, Oklahoma, Jason Kimbro of San Antonio and Micheal Fugett and Makinzie of Del City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Rebekah Kimbro Emmons and husband Sean of Olney; one brother, Mike Kimbro and wife Dottie of Electra; two sisters, Judy Scobee and husband Ted of Olney and Connie Scrogum of Olney; special niece, Stacy Lee Speers of Olney; his furbaby, "Baby" of the home; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
