William B. "Bill" Mills, age 78, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday July 5, 2014, at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas, with Scotte Clark of Olney, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Bill was born on July 22, 1935 in Olney, Texas to the late Burrel and Oneta (Hardy) Mills. He served in the United States Army. He married Colleen Clifton on October 7, 1960 in Olney, Texas. Bill was the third generation of ranchers and farmers on the Mills Ranch founded in 1874 in Baylor County. He graduated from Megargel High School. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill is survived by his wife, Colleen Mills of Olney; one sister, Patsy Mills Anderson and husband W.J. of San Antonio, Texas; his beloved dog, Annie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the funeral home.
