William "Man" Foster age 87, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 in Coleman, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Lunn Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the True Cemetery with his son, Bill Foster, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

William was born on June 11, 1932 in Rabbit Creek, Texas to the late Wilbern P. Foster and Marie (Youngblood) Foster. He was a hard worker all of his life and was a tile setter for many years. He loved to farm and he raised Quarter Horses. He was a longtime resident of Young County and moved back to Jean in 1973 from Richardson. William served on the Olney School Board for two terms and on the State Board of Farm Bureau for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Olney where he served as Deacon. He married Trevia Pollock on May 1, 1952 in Olney. She preceded him in death on December 1, 1984. He later married Mary Walker on June 25, 1987 in Olney. William was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Foster on November 15, 2008, and two sisters, Mildred Foster Hons and Martha Foster Andrew.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Walker Foster of Coleman; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Linda Foster of Gorman, Texas; one daughter, Kathy Foster Florez; four grandchildren, Ashley Foster Lee and her husband Heath of Stephenville, Texas, Trey Foster of Denver, Colorado, Jessica Florez and Jennifer Florez; two great-grandchildren, Heston Lee and Harper Lee; six step-children, Bobby West, John West, Shery West, Ami Powell, Jenny Stephens and Howard West; seventeen step-grandchildren, numerous step great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and step nieces and nephews.
