William Ernest Pollitt, Jr., age 57, died Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Wichita Falls. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

William was born on June 27, 1964 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late William Ernest Pollitt, Sr. and Carol (St. Onge) Pollitt. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force as a mechanic. He married Marla Kaye Umbarger on June 27, 1986 in Fort Worth, Texas. They moved to Olney in 2016 from Winona, Texas and became the owners and operators of Over Yonder R.V. Park. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and liked working on cars.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

William is survived by his wife, Marla Pollitt of Olney, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Jaimie Ropp and husband Eric of Anchorage, Alaska; one son and his fiancé, Jeff Pollitt and Ashlee Shantell Sanchez of Midland, Texas; six grandchildren: Brody Pollitt, Lainey Ropp, Kyndal Ropp, Braydin Pollitt, Lessie Ropp and Briella Pollitt; and one sister and brother-in-law, Debra Lee and husband Mike of Wills Point, Texas.
