Winona J. Shackelford, age 74, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at her home in Newcastle. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Newcastle. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Winona was born January 27, 1945 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Eugene Paul Shackelford and Grace (Giles) Shackelford. She received her college degree in Physical Therapy, and was very proud to be a physical therapist to help her patients. She enjoyed dancing, attending rodeos and she volunteered with Horse Therapy. Winona loved being with her family for any occasion, and "The Fun Bunch" was very near and dear to her heart. She attended the Cowboy Gathering Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Shani McClure and Elizabeth Warren; and her brother, Larry Shackelford.

Winona is survived by her two sons, Paul Shackelford and wife Shelby of Graford and Chance Hudgens and wife Mindy of Newcastle; one daughter, Angie Cominsky and husband Jay of Graford; eleven grandchildren, Art and wife Abby, Kallie, Cutter, Kayla, Mika, Paul Jr., Carson, Canvas, Kayson, Clayton and Quinten; four great-grandchildren, Eli, Kattaleya, Damon and Dawson; three sisters, Lila Casler, Marlene Brown and Sherry Ratterree Shackelford; and one brother, Lance Shackelford.
