Yvonne Young, age 80 of Olney, died Friday, November 29, 2019 at Grace Care Center in Olney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Yvonne was born on August 9, 1939 in Holliday, Texas to the late Early C. Walters and Inez Ethel (Raines) Walters. She had been employed in the housekeeping department of the Olney Hamilton Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Cowboy Church at Southside Baptist Church in Olney. Yvonne married Marvin Eugene Young on August 3, 1987. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2010.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Kenneth Walters and Dewey Walters; three sisters, Margaret Thomas, Doris Jean Walters, Angela Honeycutt; and a great-grandson, Dawson Payne Boydston.

Yvonne is survived by two sons, Robert Floyd Walters, Sr. and wife Fay of Arlington, Texas and Jackie Lynn Thomas and wife Cindy of Graham, Texas; two daughters, Margie Inez Hendley of Humble, Texas and Vickie Sue Fields of Olney, Texas; one sister, Earline Stevens of Wichita Falls, Texas; seven grandchildren, Misty Walters, Robert Walters, Jr., Andy Shook, Jr., Derrick Fields, Kodye Graham, Scott Thomas, Shane Thomas; and nine great-grandchildren.
