Zac Spears, age 17, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in Olney, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Olney with Bill Wadley of Olney Family Worship Center officiating assisted by Gary Torian. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the ion of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Zac was born on October 9, 1994 in Tacoma, Washington. He was a student at Olney High School. Zac was an active athlete in football, and power lifting. He enjoyed computers. He attended First United Methodist Church in Olney. Zac had been employed at Sonic. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Deborah Spears, Ethel Jackson, David Fox, and Samuel Spears, also a sibling, Baby Jackson.

Survivors include his parents, Darren Jackson and Bridget SpearsJackson of Olney, Texas brothers: Quentin and Peter Jackson both of Olney, Texas sisters: Brigetta Hawkins of Galveston, Texas, Dahlia and Cristal Bacon both of Richmond,Virginia Great Aunt and Great Uncle Gail and Walter Spears of Olney, Texas an Aunt, Donna Jackson of Mobile, Alabama, and an Uncle, Samuel Spears of Ohio.


Visitation will be on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 68 pm at the funeral home.

Donations received purchased the monument that honors Zacs memory. A scholarship fund, the Zac Spears Memorial Fund, has been established at Wells Fargo bank and welcomes any investment in the future of our youth.
