Zoann Aleta Priesmeyer

Zoann Aleta Priesmeyer, age 64, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Zoann was born on July 31, 1955 in El Campo, Texas to the late William Xavier Priesmeyer and Lonnie A. (Powell) Priesmeyer. She loved to write short stories and was working on four novels at one time. She was a member of numerous writers' guilds. Zoann was a dog lover and an avid art lover as well. She was an avid sci-fi fan and owned a huge collection of Star Trek memorabilia. Her favorite past-time was watching movies. Zoann had been a resident of Grace Care Center for many years and was at home there. She cared for the staff and appreciated them and all they did for her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Xavier Mark and sister Yolanda Lea.

Zoann is survived by brother Sandy Priesmeyer and wife Debbie, niece Aymie Priesmeyer, nephew Andy Priesmeyer, nephew Damien Snavely and wife Lacey, niece Desiree Fine and husband Chris, and several great nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by cousins, Ronnie Priesmeyer and wife Marsha, Harry Priesmeyer and wife Tina, Richard Byrd and wife Faye, and all of their children, with a special mention of cousin Jason Priesmeyer and Amanda Priesmeyer Murphy, whom she cared for as children and loved with all her heart.
